Product presentation has evolved far beyond static photography. For this project, I created an interactive 3D orbital product tour for a dog harness system, allowing viewers to explore the product from every angle in a seamless and engaging way.
Instead of relying solely on still images, this approach lets customers rotate the product virtually, revealing details of the design, materials, and construction. The result is a more immersive product experience that helps audiences understand how the harness is built and how it functions.

The product for this product tour is a unique patented dog harness system. The tour was challenging to put together with this design because we needed to incorporate three different elements of the harness:
- The dog harness
- The belt, which the dog walker wears on their waist.
- The lead connecting the two components
In the Product 3D virtual tour, the viewer can:
- rotate the design around freely in 360°
- zoom in and zoom out using the mouse scroll wheel
- can change colours of all three different components
- can click on the informational icons to reveal the salient features
The tour runs directly on the clients website and is accessible from anywhere in the world.
The whole tour works flawlessly on any mobile device as the tour has an expandable menu system which gives you the options to have a look at different colour options.
This 3-D virtual tour is extremely unique because it showcases the product in the complete freedom of 360 degrees. You can show what the colour choices look like on the product itself. Finally, because we allow the client to zoom in and zoom out the product, it gives the client a better understanding of how the specific product works.
This type of product visualisation is especially valuable for e-commerce and product marketing, where customers cannot physically handle the item before purchasing. An interactive 3D-style viewer provides a closer approximation of examining the product in person, increasing confidence and engagement.
