During the weekend I was hired to photo shoot and cover the second round of Karting Australia’s second round of 2023 championship at Wanneroo’s Mega Fast Karts racetrack. I was there specifically to cover Blake Haigh who has been sponsored by Eni lubricants. The day was amazing for the shoot and Blake participated in two races on Sunday. Blake performed brilliantly over the four day event consistently placing in the top half of his group and in the top third of the field of 56 contestants in the Cadet 12 category.
With 16 karts eliminated, Blake started 18th in the top 40 in the Final and through some skillful race-craft over 16 laps, crossed the finish line in a commendable 11th place. Congratulations Blake on such a great result. We’re happy to have been there to be part of an exciting weekend of racing for the Chematek/eni sponsored team.
